The Brisbane Transit Centre, on Roma Street in Brisbane, is a multi-mode public transport hub for long-distance bus and rail services, and houses the second-busiest suburban rail in the Brisbane central business district.
Opened in 1986, the Brisbane Transit Centre is between the Queensland Police Service headquarters and the Roma Street Parkland. The complex includes a number of shops, cafes and restaurants, and two office towers. Access to the centre can be from the ground floor on Roma Street or from the Roma Street Parkland.
The coach terminal is located on the top floor of the Brisbane Transit Centre. Greyhound Australia and Premier Motor Service operate intrastate within Queensland and interstate services to Byron Bay, Lismore and Sydney. NSW TrainLink operate a service to Casino and Crisps Coaches services to Tenterfield and Moree.
Roma Street Railway Station is accessed from the ground floor level of the Brisbane Transit Centre. Long distance Traveltrain services depart for destinations within Queensland as well as a daily interstate NSW TrainLink XPT service to Sydney.
